A ritual stirs the sea. Away from the world of the living, San Francisco's unclaimed dead find their final resting place.

On a Summer afternoon, Pedro packs the last few boxes before having to leave his apartment in New York. After 12 years building a life abroad, he's returning to Portugal, where his wife and son already await him. As the rooms are emptied, we witness the staging of a farewell to one life, and the welcoming of another. Festival selections: Leuven International Film Festival Leiria Film Fest
